Princeton prepares for Autumnfest celebration Saturday

The popular Autumnfest celebration returns to downtown Princeton on Saturday. This is the 18th year for Autumfest, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mercer Street in the Historic Grassroots District of Princeton. It is being sponsored this year by the Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias. As in past years, Mercer Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. so that festival attendees can walk up and down Mercer Street and visit the various vendors on display and businesses that are open, chamber officials said Thursday.
