Trenton teen arrested in connection with shooting death

A 15-year-old male from Trenton was arrested for the shooting death of a Trenton man earlier this month. The United States Marshals Service apprehended the suspect in Norfolk, Virginia on Wednesday. The teenager faces charges of first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. He will remain in Virginia pending extradition to Mercer County. Fairfax County couple sentenced for dangerous drug ring

A Fairfax County woman and her husband have been sentenced to more than a decade in federal prison after being convicted of running a massive drug operation. Court documents say they distributed tens of thousands of dangerous fentanyl pills per month in Virginia. Defendant Carrington Jarius Hammond, age 29, went by the nickname “Free” according to court documents. Deadly crash on US-501 kills 78-year-old man in Halifax County

HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Virginia State Police say a 78-year-old man has been killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Halifax County on July 20. According to VSP, around 9:55 a.m. on Saturday, 78-year-old Robert Hermanowski of Nathalie was in a 1989 Chevrolet Silverado and was driving south on Route 501 near Dudley Road. Hermanowski’s truck was rear-ended by a 2007 Ford Explorer, causing him to run off the right side of the road and hit a tree. Hermanowski was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt.…

Three Dead In Legato Crash

LEGATO, Va. — Three people are dead after a crash in Fairfax County early Tuesday. The crash involved a single vehicle on West Ox Road and Route 29 just before 5 a.m. When officers got to the scene, the driver, only identified as a man, and two women passengers were declared dead. VIENNA, VA — Town of Vienna Police are investigating whether a student at James Madison High School uploaded and sent images of child pornography using his Instagram account, according to court documents. On July 8, Vienna investigators received two CyberTips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notifying them that six files containing child pornography were uploaded to Instagram on April 13 and April 30, according to court documents. ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are asking the public's help in located 40-year-old Rishikesh Gadhia, who was last seen in the 3400 block of John Marshall Drive on Monday night.
