An Israeli strike on south Beirut killed at least three people on Tuesday, Lebanon said after Israel announced its second strike on the country’s capital in a fragile four-month truce. The attack came without warning at around 3:30 am (0030 GMT) during the Eid al-Fitr Muslim holiday. Israeli airstrike hits Gaza school killing at least 60 Palestinians sheltering inside

An Israeli airstrike has hit a school-turned-shelter in Gaza City, killing more than 60 people, health authorities have confirmed. The Health Ministry's Ambulance and Emergency service said the devastating strike – on the Tabeen school in central Gaza City – also wounded 47 people. Many of the casualties were women and children, a spokesperson for the Civil Defence first responders said.
